I was extremely lucky when it came to my pregnancy. It only took us 3 months to get pregnant and once I was passed the 12 week mark we told our families and their responses couldn’t have been better. I was surrounded by so much love and support my entire pregnancy, from my mom checking in on me constantly to my mother in law buying me fruit in bulk.
With it being my first, I had no idea what to expect. My morning sickness happened in the afternoon and only if I ate anything heavy like pasta or meat. I learned quickly to eat early and light which wasn’t hard because all I craved during my pregnancy was fruit. My first trimester was the worst with fatigue. I would sleep as soon as I got home from work and would only wake up because I had to make dinner for Neto. I ended up with no stretch marks and weighing less after delivery than I did before my pregnancy.
My doctor appointments were always exciting. We always got to see a big and healthy baby boy. My OB/GYN told me I was having a model pregnancy. With everything going so great during my pregnancy I prayed that it continued into postpartum as well.
